Maroondah Business Association is a supportive not-for-profit business organisation which provides monthly meetings for businesses, who live or work in and around Knox, Maroondah, Whitehorse, Monash and the Greater City of Dandenong.
Please note that in February 2015 we will be meeting on the 11th, the 2nd Wednesday night, instead of the normal 1st Wednesday night, this is one exception to the rule.
We meet on the 1st Wednesday night of the month at 7pm beginning with networking, sandwiches, tea and coffee for a 7.30pm start, finishing at 8.45pm with hot finger food and more networking. This is February to October and in November we meet on the 2nd Wednesday night and in December have a Christmas event on the 1st Friday of December.
We meet at the Wantirna Club, 350 Stud Road, Wantirna. This is diagonally across from Knox City. This will provide greater opportunities for members and guests heading towards Dandenong. People have been renowned to travel to our meetings from the other side of the city and as far out as Warburton in the Yarra Ranges.
We are a dynamic bunch of people who come together to further grow our business, through fantastic networking, brilliant guest speakers and building strong relationships, which can directly or indirectly bring more sales our way.
People travel from far and wide to attend our monthly Wednesday night meetings. Our membership is constantly growing and with us you will find not only opportunities to communicate and build relationships with like minded business owners, you will also grow in knowledge.
We have some of the very best speakers present to us on a broad range of supportive topics related to up to date business information and trends.

The Association is growing and you are welcome to come and check us out before joining. The casual entry fee is $50. If you decide to join before the next meeting the $50 will be offset against your membership fee.
Membership is fantastic value, it is $150 per year which entitles you to come to ten meetings and the annual Christmas dinner function on the 1st Friday in December. It is usually a sit down dinner with entertainment and begins at 7pm, with the bar closing at midnight. There is also a once off new member joining fee of $35.
Networking and Building Relationships
|We are a friendly, supportive bunch of people on the committee and members equally willing to welcome you and share their expertise. As business owners we need that support. It helps us to stay on track and be motivated.
We have found that the information, presentation and sharing helps both input new learning, as well as consolidates what is already known.

At Maroondah Business Association we expand our business knowledge with a prominent professional speaker from our national resources.
There is a 45 minute presentation at meetings followed by question and sharing time. Topics are relevant and we find that you will learn many new things if you attend regularly which each month can generally be applied immediately.

We work closely with the Knox Economic Development unit, who frequently attend our meetings.
